Serving one of its goals to educate and provide knowledge in the field of biodiversity conservation, The Wildlife Research Center (WRC) encourages and facilitates collaborations with university students of various disciplines related to conservation and sustainability of natural resources. Also, the Center serves as training and scientific research facility hosting also school groups and community partners.

On August The center hosted students from Omdurman Islamic University, faculty of Agriculture, department of Poultry production and breeding  in order to integrate the theoretical frame with scientific application.

Students from the Faculty of Animal Production, department of Genetics and Breeding, visited the center where they made a tour in the facility and visited the Wildlife Research Center farm where Ostrich are bred for the purpose of re-introduction in the wild.
