UNDP-GEF are funding a major project in Sudan  aiming to strengthen the national PA system and promote integrated management in adjacent areas that reduces threats to biodiversity, mitigates land degradation, sustains ecosystem services, and improves people’s livelihood. On 8/9/2021 the Administration Team of the project held a meeting at the WRC. The visiting team consisted of the project manager, Coordinators of Dungonab Bay Marine National Park (DBMNP) and Jebel El Dair National Park (JDNP). The purpose of the meeting was to appoint WRC to undertake the Wildlife Ecological monitoring Survey at the Targeted Key PAs of Sudan. The project is expected to last for 5 years
