Short training period was held under joint coordination and direct supervision of Wildlife Research Centre, SPAS Project and Council for Training in the period from 27^th Jan. to 2^nd Feb. 2022.

Place: Dinder National Park

Objectives:

1. Train 2 of the researchers on use of drone for wildlife surveillance
2. Train 3 officers from Wildlife Conservation General Administration on use of drone and GPS for wildlife protection

  As an outcome of the memorandum of understanding between WRC &WCGA , the training period was designated to meet the followings requirements:

1. To boost the skills of 16 researchers and 4 officers in field works
2. Acquire skills on controlling and mechanical immobilization of small mammals
3. Use of drone  and GPS for wildlife surveillance and protection
4. Autopsy and specimen preparation
